Our Services

Services at Riverside Baptist Church are simple. We simply sing hymns of praise and worship, fellowship with each other, and listen to the preaching and teaching of God's Word. We try to "do church" like God's people have been "doing church" for the last 2,000 years. Our services rarely last longer than an hour and thirty minutes, and we will never embarrass you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Should I Dress?

We don't have a specific dress code. We simply encourage people to employ modesty and reverence in their dress. At any Sunday worship service you will see a variety of dress styles from the pastor in a suit and tie to business casual, to boots and jeans.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We don't invite you to Riverside Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What to Expect?

At Riverside Baptist Church you will find others who love God and love people. It will be expressed in our signing to the Lord and our preaching services, as well in our attention to you and your family. We have ministries to make the whole family feel welcome. From a loving nursery, to an exciting children's classes, to edifying adult Bible studies; we want to serve your family from the heart.

Our worship services last for about an hour and fifteen minutes. In our worship service, the following elements take place: worship through singing, public Scripture reading, a pastoral prayer, offering, and the preaching of the Word of God (about 35 to 45 minutes). We have a high reverence for God and His Word so come prepared and hungry to learn from God, about God, and how to live for God.

What about Children?

RBC has a robust Adventure Club (for 3-11 y/o) on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

For 12-17 y/o we have Youth Discipleship on Wednesdays as well at 7 p.m.

We also have invigorating Sunday Children’s Discipleship class for ages 3-11 at 10:30 every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

RBC also provides a loving nursery for your infants and toddlers during the 10 a.m. worship service on Sundays.
